We are proud to produce Valdobbiadene

Born from baby vines. Up until forty years we produce wines only from our old vineyard’s grapes

Guia winery has a small selection of hand crafted wines. Each wine is made to exalt the unique properties, character and taste of the grapes coming by different terroir in Guia Village.

Mario Buso started his “Guia” winery in the 1980s . It has become one of the most important family businesses in the small hamlet of Guia in Valdobbiadene.

Wine making was strongly rooted in Mario’s family, his father Bortolo and his mother Rina were both born farmers and winemakers.

The vineyards, cultivated with passion and respect, give us nobles grapes. We harvest that one by one by hand during the harvest

VALDOBBIADENE

History and People of Prosecco Superiore

Valdobbiadene is the land of Prosecco Superiore. It’s a land of intense colours, which Venice ‘Serenissima’ and France have at various times contended for.
It is the perfect place for the growing of the Valdobbiadene Glera grapes.
Prosecco Valdobbiadene is produced in the hills of the 15 communes lying between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene.

Every vineyard has its own unique character of the soil, which gives the grapes their unmistakable organoleptic properties.
These are the histroical areas where the grapes of Prosecco, Verdiso, Bianchetta, Perera, grow and ripen. They are sheltered by the mountains in the north and warmed by the sunshine until late in the afternoon.
Prosecco Superiore Guia in its different selections is the result of the precise mix of different grapes from his various vineyards The wines are given a special genuine taste in synergy with the character of their land.
