Four Generations in Valdobbiadene

Proud to be Valdobbiadene.

A geography of gestures, toil, and handed-down knowledge. Where the farmer’s footsteps become the metronome of the landscape, a history without dates unfolds—written among the steep asperities of Valdobbiadene hills.

Timeless Farmers: Andar par le rive.

Azienda Agricola Guia was founded in the 1980s by Mario Buso, growing over the years into a benchmark family-run estate in the small village of Guia, in Valdobbiadene. Viticulture is a deep-rooted heritage for the Buso family: his father Bortolo and mother Rina were both passionate grape growers and farmers. This artisanal dedication still guides every choice we make in the vineyard and the cellar today.

Between Dolomite breezes and Venetian echoes, vineyards embroidered onto the slopes, and woods and waters winding through the valley.

Vineyards and Rive di Guia Terroir

Terroir & Vinegrowinf

Manual harvest, zero mechanization, and extreme slopes: this is the empirical essence of our viticulture. The vineyards, featuring centenary vines, are cultivated with absolute respect for those who will come after us.

Valdobbiadene:
History and people of Prosecco Superiore

Valdobbiadene is Prosecco Superiore: a land of intense colors, historically contested between the Most Serene Republic of Venice and France. Here, protected by the mountains to the north and kissed by the sun until late afternoon, Glera, Verdiso, Bianchetta, and Perera grapes grow.

Terroir

Every micro-zone features soil with unmistakable organoleptic properties that are reflected directly into the wine.

History

The masterly combination of Glera with ancient local varieties (Verdiso, Perera, Bianchetta) yields an authentic and genuine taste.

Truth expression

Guia Prosecco Superiore, in its various interpretation, is the precise synthesis of the finest crus in the village of Guia.

Perfection research

Each bottle encapsulates the experience of our origins. The winemaking process combines stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and floral notes with a few passes in wooden barrels and multi-vintage evolutions. Our objective is to offer you a delightful and emotional moment, giving back the pure essence of the Guia hills.
